Philip finished HS in 2001 from Plano Sr. High. Philips friends adored Carol and her free spirit. She also encourages Philip in completion of his Eagle award, and went on many back packing trips with Philip and his friends. In 2006 Philip graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Carol always encouraged Philip's critical thinking, and as a child encouraged him to take things apart!
